# News Service Description

**News Service** acts as a communication bridge between the ODA platform and its users (streamers). It manages:

* **Global News:** Creation and retrieval of platform-wide announcements.
* **Personalized Feeds:** Tracking the "read" state for individual streamers to ensure they see new content in sequence.
* **User Feedback:** Allowing streamers to rate news items, providing data for platform improvement.
